The design,
layout, and installation of fire protection systems is based
on the Alberta Fire Code. Under Canada's Constitution Act, regulation
of fire safety is the responsibility of provincial and territorial
governments. Alberta publishes its own codes based on the National
Fire Code of Canada (NFC). Constant designs fire protection
systems in accordance with applicable local fire protection
codes and installs each system in a manner that conforms with
existing architectural components.
